His relationship with music began in his family&rsquo;s church and has evolved into a singular career spanning clubs, stages, classrooms, and cultural institutions worldwide.</p><p dir="ltr">Founder of&nbsp;Jump-N-Funk, North America&rsquo;s original Fela Kuti tribute, Medina helped establish a blueprint for the global embrace of Afrobeat. His legendary&nbsp;Lil Ricky&rsquo;s Rib Shack&nbsp;and&nbsp;HOME&nbsp;residencies have become touchstones of New York club culture.
