<p><strong>The Honey Sliders are back with a new show!&nbsp;</strong>This year they<strong>&nbsp;</strong>are paying homage to the music</p><p>from <strong>1975</strong>. It was the year <strong>Bruce Springsteen</strong> broke out with his first hit &lsquo;Born to Run&rsquo;, <strong>Led</strong></p><p><strong>Zeppelin</strong> released their opus Physical Graffiti (featuring the epic &lsquo;Kashmir&rsquo;), <strong>David Bowie</strong></p><p>reinvented himself with &lsquo;Golden Years&rsquo;, &lsquo;Fame&rsquo;, and &lsquo;Young Americans&rsquo;, <strong>Fleetwood Mac</strong> tipped</p><p>the charts with &ldquo;Rhiannon&rsquo;, <strong>Bob Dylan</strong> hit top gear with arguably his best album &lsquo;Blood on the</p><p>Tracks&rsquo;, <strong>Neil Young</strong> released two albums &lsquo;Tonight&rsquo;s the Night&rsquo;, and &lsquo;Zuma&rsquo;, and <strong>Willie Nelson</strong> had</p><p>a number one hit with &lsquo;Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain&rsquo;, <strong>John Lennon&nbsp;</strong>recorded a timeless version of</p><p>&lsquo;Stand By Me&rsquo;, and the list goes on&hellip; The Honey Sliders will play all of these songs plus many</p><p>more, live on stage, in a night to remember.</p><p><br></p><p>1975 was also when The Honey Sliders&rsquo; band leader Danny Widdicombe was born, so this is like</p><p>a 50th birthday party for him, and his 30th year of living with leukaemia and all its complications.</p><p>Danny has been diagnosed and managed to fight off leukaemia three times since his first</p><p>diagnosis back in 1995 so this is a big milestone for him and his loved ones - and it&rsquo;s going to be</p><p>one hell of a celebration!</p><p><br></p><p>The Honey Sliders have been putting on themed concerts every year since 2013. Over the last</p><p>twelve years, they have curated 15 different shows including The Beatles&rsquo; &lsquo;Rooftop Concert&rsquo; and</p><p>&lsquo;Abbey Road&rsquo;, The Rolling Stones&rsquo; &lsquo;Sticky Fingers&rsquo; and &lsquo;Let it Bleed&rsquo; with Tim Rogers on vocals,</p><p>The Band&rsquo;s &lsquo;The Last Waltz&rsquo; with guests such as Bernard Fanning, Troy Cassar-Daley, Jeff Lang</p><p>and more, Neil Young&rsquo;s &lsquo;On the Beach&rsquo; and &lsquo;Harvest&rsquo; as well as &lsquo;Zuma&rsquo;, and &lsquo;Tonight&rsquo;s the Night&rsquo;</p><p>and many more. It&rsquo;s a labour of love and the band pride themselves on the attention to detail they</p><p>put into working up their favourite music.</p><p><br></p><p>Come sing along to all these classic tunes from &rsquo;75!</p>
